Stavros Village: Let’s start our tour from Stavros, where one can see the bust of legendary Odysseus adorning the central square. If it happens to visit in early August, do not miss the festival of Sotiros in the 6th, one of the most renowned summer festivals among the Ionian Islands. Live music and abundant local wine, aweing for non-stop dancing traditional greek circle dances, waltzes and tangos.
Kioni Village: Approximately 7 km east from Stavros, reach the most beautiful settlement of the island, Kioni village. It is an original eptanisian village, well preserving the typical local architecture: Houses amphitheatrically built around the seafront, paved alleys and windmills, backed from infinite velvet blue sea.
Eksogi Village:4 km northern of StavrosVillage, reach the mountainous village Eksogi, one of the older settlements in Ithaca, with amazing view to the velvet blue sea. During the Venetian Occupation, the great view to the North made it a strategic spot for the locals to set up their lives safely in case of pirate raids.
Frikes Village: 2,5 km northearst of Stavros lies Frikes Village, a small coastal settlement of exceptional beauty and magnificent crystal beaches.
Anogi Village: Anogi is located 6 km south of Stavros. Visit the Church of Virgin Mary, built around 12th century A.D. , where you can marvel the frescoes and the impressive venetian styled bell tower.
